Skim shows only the brief.

Problem

Each team had data but no shared way to see it. A logistics company was carrying stock it didn't need, a data team couldn't see its own pipelines, and an edtech platform couldn't tell how students were really doing.

What I owned

  • Image annotation & quality checks for computer-vision models (RectLabs)
  • Inventory analysis & shipment-tracking dashboard (GWX)
  • ETL and Tableau Admin dashboards on Redshift (freelance)
  • Exploratory analysis of student outcomes (Tech4Dev)

Key calls

  • Present findings to the people who act on them
  • Monitor the data platform itself, not only the data
  • Write annotation guidelines so quality scales

Outcome

10%less excess inventory
8%better order fulfilment

At GWX Logistics: a 10% reduction in excess inventory and an 8% improvement in order fulfilment. In BI work: a more efficient pipeline and better Tableau Server uptime.

Context

I call myself a data girl, and I still am. These three years are why I read a dashboard before I write a PRD.

01

RectLabs: the data side of AI

Before I managed AI products, I helped train one. I annotated thousands of images for computer-vision models, helped put annotation guidelines and quality checks in place, and wrote articles on annotation best practice.

02

GWX Logistics: the number that changed a warehouse

My inventory analysis led to a 10% reduction in excess inventory and an 8% improvement in order fulfilment rates. I also helped build a real-time shipment-tracking dashboard, and I presented the findings to the logistics team myself.

03

Freelance BI: watching the pipes, not just the water

I led an ETL dashboard covering extraction, transformation and loading into the company's Redshift warehouse, which improved accuracy and reduced processing time. I also led a Tableau Admin dashboard showing server usage and performance, so the team could find bottlenecks and keep uptime high.

04

Tech4Dev: what the platform was really teaching

I ran exploratory analysis on student performance, engagement and learning outcomes, and built Tableau dashboards and reports with recommendations for the platform.
