About

Hi, I'm Ibukun. Most people call me IBK.

I'm an AI product manager in Lagos. I lead product at ReelUse AI, I'm a Product Manager at Enyata, and I run a bridal concierge on the side.

I didn't start in product. I started in data, building dashboards, finding patterns and labelling training data for computer-vision models. For a while those felt like separate chapters. Then, in the middle of an interview, I saw the thread: no knowledge is wasted.

I'm still a data girl. I just use it to decide what to build now.

Four things I keep coming back to

  1. 01

    Processes

Bringing structure to chaos: release programs, standards, timelines.

  2. 02

    Product

Understanding what people need and deciding what to build next.

  3. 03

    People

Engineers, designers, support, customers, brides. Collaboration is the job.

  4. 04

    Data & AI

Where I started, and still how I check my thinking.

How I work

  1. If it can't be explained, it isn't finished.

Help pages, support answers and the changelog ship in the same change as the feature.

  2. Customers don't pay for our failures.

A failed job never touches their allowance. Trust is part of pricing.

  3. Prove it on ourselves first.

Per-account beta flags and real workloads before anyone else sees it.

  4. One thing, one name.

The same vocabulary in the app, the help centre and the inbox.

  5. People judge quality, not the model.

Blind human reviews decide what's good. A model's score about itself doesn't.

  6. Nothing moves without a yes.

An AI that acts for you shows exactly what it will do, then waits for your confirmation.
